Description
Summary:Of 495 patients included in the ITT analysis, 434 had residual intrathoracic disease at baseline (of whom 215 were allocated to the thoracic radiotherapy group and 219 to the control group), and 61 patients had no residual intrathoracic disease (of whom 32 were allocated to the thoracic radiotherapy group and 29 to the control group). Since residual intrathoracic disease was a stratification factor, we found no differences in patient characteristics between the two groups.
