Interactive effects of GPI stimulation and levodopa on postural control in Parkinson's disease

Highlights • GPI-DBS and L-DOPA have differential effects on postural control in IPD. • GPI-DBS prevents the increase in static sway caused by L-DOPA. • GPI-DBS improves the control of directional leaning in the L-DOPA ‘ON’ state.
