The application of imaging technologies in the detection of trace evidence in forensic medical investigation

Highlights • Victims of fatal violence were examined for evidence using imaging technologies. • Up to a maximum of 10 different evidence types per body was detected. • The technologies detect significantly more evidence than naked-eye observation.
