Production of high-quality slabs during continuous casting of cracking-sensitive steel: Part 1
Reported data and own experimental results are used to formulate a cracking mechanism concept and to analyze the effect of the chemical composition of a metal on cracking in slabs during continuous casting of a low-carbon steel microalloyed with carbonitride-forming elements.
