Description
Summary:The time course of changes in the capacity of synchronized yeast cells to be covalently immobilized was determined and interpreted as an indication of chronological changes in the cell's outer-wall proteins. Corroborative evidence was obtained indicating that these transient changes are dependent on protein synthesis and connected with the progression of the cell cycle through the late S and/or early G2 phases.
