Summary: | The third Japan-U.S. Seminar on Bioorganic Marine Chemistry was held 3-8 July 1944, in Numazu, Japan, sponsored by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Sciences and the U.S. National Science Foundation. Japanese organizers were K. Tachibana and N. Fusetani (University of Tokyo); the U.S. organizer was K.L. Rinehart (University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign). In attendance were twelve Japanese participants and fourteen Japanese observers, nine U.S. participants and one U.S. observer, and two Japanese student assistants. |
