Association of Wnt-Inducible Signaling Pathway Protein 1 Genetic Polymorphisms With Lung Cancer Susceptibility and Platinum-Based Chemotherapy Response

Micro-Abstract Wnt-inducible signaling pathway protein 1 ( WISP1 ) polymorphisms were associated with multiple lung diseases, including lung cancer. Twenty-eight polymorphisms of WISP1 were selected and genotyped in 556 lung cancer patients and 254 healthy controls. We identified 4 polymorphisms rel...

Description
Summary:Micro-Abstract Wnt-inducible signaling pathway protein 1 ( WISP1 ) polymorphisms were associated with multiple lung diseases, including lung cancer. Twenty-eight polymorphisms of WISP1 were selected and genotyped in 556 lung cancer patients and 254 healthy controls. We identified 4 polymorphisms related to lung cancer susceptibility and 5 polymorphisms related to platinum-based chemotherapy response. Genotypes of WISP1 may be used to predict lung cancer susceptibility and chemotherapy response.
