Nocardia asteroides Peritonitis in a Patient with Cirrhosis and Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection
Only five cases of peritoneal involvement during the course of nocardiosis have been reported to date. We describe a case of peritonitis due to Nocardia asteroides in a patient with cirrhosis who was infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
