Wilforcidine, a New Alkaloid from Tripterygium wilfordii

A new dihydroagarofuran sesquiterpene alkaloid with a trans-cinnamoyloxy group at the C-8 position was isolated from Tripterygium wilfordii. Its structure was elucidated by spectral analysis, including 2D nmr DQF-COSY, HMBC, and NOESY spectra.
