Summary:In November 2014 the Ifo Institute asked all companies participating in its monthly business survey, with the exception of contractors, two special questions on the minimum wage pertaining to the impact of the rule on them on the one hand, and how they plan to respond to it on the other. Based on an evaluation of the Ifo Business Survey, this article examines the extent to which companies actually implemented the measures that they announced.
