Effect of Prey Vulnerability on Population Size Structure of a Gape-Limited Predator
It appears that tadpoles play a role in development of cannibals by modifying population size structure of salamanders. Salamander larvae are gape-limited predators, and large prey like tadpoles are vulnerable only to large salamander larvae.
