Description
Summary:The present paper is a study for evaluation of heat radiation performance according to changes in the capacity of fluid charged inside a square plate. The present test piece has been produced in a small size of 1.6mm in thickness, 10mm in width for the purpose of being used for automobile head lamp and electric parts, etc., with fine grooves being provided on its internal surface to increase surface area and maximize the contact area with heat. For filling fluid, acetone was used where filling rates were 10%, 20%, 30%, respectively, with the remaining space being sealed to maintain vacuum. For experiments, temperature transfer experiments were conducted according to changes in temperature heated according to individual test pieces, and performance was evaluated and analyzed. According to the experimental results, the highest heat transfer rate was observed when the filling rate was 20%, while the heat transfer rates for 10% and 30% were shown to be relatively lower.
