Description
Summary:In this article we considered a method of monitoring of toxicants in a turbulent water flow. The technique was based on SBS (stimulated Brillouin scattering). We have developed a mathematical model of light distribution in the medium with optical inhomogeneities. In our case quantity and form of inhomogeneities depended on time. Also experiments for check of adequacy of mathematical model were made. The results were used to refine the scheme of optical device for rapid analysis toxicants in drinking water.
