Summary:This paper describes the synthesis and catalytic activity of ZrO sub(2)/Al sub(2)O sub(3 ) nano-catalyst as a highly effective heterogeneous and active catalyst that converts oleic acid and methanol into fatty acid esters under high voltage conditions in a low temperature and atmospheric pressure process. Using an inexpensive and reusable catalyst, producing excellent yields in a short time and its environmental benignity are some of the important features of this protocol. The results were confirmed by GC, FTIR, FESEM and XRD.
