Novel reassortant H10N7 avian influenza viruses isolated from chickens in Eastern China

Highlights • Three novel chicken H10N7 avian influenza viruses were isolated in Eastern China. • The H10N7 strains were reassortant viruses that replicated in mice without adaptation. • Continued poultry surveillance is required to monitor H10N7 subtype avian influenza virus.
