Description
Summary:The efficacy and tolerance of Valdoxan (agomelatine) in mild and moderate depression due to neurological diseases (cerebrovascular pathology, neurocirculatory dystonia, chronic pain) were studied. A total of 227 patients aged 18–70 (mean 46.0 ± 11.3) years were studied, including 21.66 % men and 76.53 % women. Patients received Valdoxan for six months. After courses, most patients (81.20 %) showed elimination of depression symptomatology, with regression of fatigue, improvements in ability to work (on specific tests), and normalization of the coefficient of mental stability.
