Summary: | Musculo tendinous injuries are frequent pathologies in sport medicine. Rest and classical treatments are, very often, not enough to succeed a good healing and return to sport activities. The aim of this prospective study is to demonstrate the interest of eccentric isokinetic exercise in the treatment of sub acute injuries of the calcanean tendon and of the thigh muscles. Complementary with classical kinesitherapy treatment, isokinetic work allowed a complete healing and return to anterior sport activities, without any recurrent injuries for a majority of the patients. We suggest in conclusion a specific protocol to care these pathologies using an isokinetic dynamometer in eccentric mode. |
