Description
Summary:Micro-Abstract The clinical association of monosomal karyotype (MK) status in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients and variations in practice protocols has not been well reported. This study evaluated outcome in 225 AML patients with MK-positive or -negative status with a minimum of 2 years' follow-up. Results showed that the distribution of MK positivity increased with age and was related to complete remission. Consolidated therapy could provide optimal outcome.
