Summary:•Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum JCM 1200T was isolated from infant feces. This paper is the first report demonstrating the fully sequenced and completely annotated genome of a B. pseudocatenulatum strain.•The genome sequence of JCM 1200T consists of a circular chromosome of 2313,752bp with no plasmid.•JCM 1200T contained a clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) region (1,624,514–1,626,558), and the chromosome contained 1841 predicted protein-coding genes. Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum JCM 1200T was isolated from infant feces. This paper is the first report demonstrating the fully sequenced and completely annotated genome of a B. pseudocatenulatum strain.
