Summary:Highlights • 4E10 or 10E8 epitopes inserted into the P domain of Norovirus P particle could induce highly humoral immune responses in Balb/c mice and guinea pigs. • 4E10 or 10E8 epitopes presented on three loops of P domain resulted in better antibody binding levels and neutralizing antibody titers than in loop 2. • The α-helix content was increased obviously when 4E10 or 10E8 epitopes inserted into three loops of P domain than in loop 2, which increased the generation of neutralizing activities.
