Annexin A2 in primary afferents contributes to neuropathic pain associated with tissue type plasminogen activator

Highlights • Peripheral nerve injury induced ANX2 and tPA in the primary afferent. • Administration of the inhibitor for ANX2–tPA complex suppressed neuropathic pain. • The role ANX2–tPA complex may be involved in the plastic changes in dorsal horn.
