A New Species Of Apostenus From California, With Notes On The Genus (Araneae, Liocranidae)

The genus Apostenus is newly recorded from the Nearctic region and a new species, Apostenus californicus, is described from California. Notes are presented on several morphological features of phylogenetic interest.
