Cl]Cl (2b), where Dm-Pybox is 2,6-bis[4′,4′-dimethyloxazolin-2′-yl]pyridine, have been isolated and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The solid state structures of 2a and 2b feature different modes of non-covalent interactions, C-H⋯Cl, C-H⋯O and O-H⋯Cl interactions. Spectroscopic and analytical methods, UV-vis and thermogravimetric analyses were done to further investigate chemical properties of the complexes. |
