Summary:A method of measuring the power of subterahertz and terahertz radiation using resonant tunneling diodes is proposed, based on a recording of the change in their current-voltage characteristics. The possibility of extending microwave methods into this radiation band is demonstrated. It is shown that, based on such a diode, one can detect microwave radiation over a wide range of intensities of extremely high-frequency fields.
