Summary: | A technique for the creation of reference values intended for calibration of instruments for measurement of the geometric parameters of spatial surfaces is considered. The technique is based on the creation of a virtual model of a complex surface of a physical reference piece through digital identification of the latter with the use of the apparatus of cellular automata. The article presents the results of control verification measurements of the working surfaces of gear wheels, which confirm that the use of the technique under practical conditions is both possible and feasible. |
