Summary: | Micro-Abstract We conducted a retrospective database analysis of patients with rectal cancer at a tertiary cancer referral center in Western India, with a special focus on the effect of histologic subtype on cancer outcomes. We found that a spectrum of adenocarcinoma subtypes exists, with patients with mucinous variants exhibiting clinicopathologic outcomes intermediate between that of the classic and signet ring cell variants. |
