Summary:Efficient method of synthesis was developed for N -(Ad)-1,5,3-dithiazepanes consisting in the heterocyclization of adamantanamines with N 1 , N 1 , N 6 , N 6 -tetramethyl-2,5-dithiahexane-1,6-diamine. Fungicidal activity was found in 3-(adamantan-1-yl)- and 3-[1-(adamantan-1-yl)ethyl]-1,5,3-dithiazepanes against phytopathogenic fungi Rhizoctonia solani .
