Description
Summary:Micro-Abstract Plerixafor is a potent stem cell–mobilizing agent whose cost is prohibitive for routine use. In 277 consecutive patients, the addition of rescue plerixafor during suboptimal granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) mobilization or after prior failure of chemotherapy plus G-CSF was associated with successful mobilization in 97.5% of patients, with target collections achieved in 60% of lymphoma and 72% of myeloma patients.
