Description
Summary:Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a wireless network without having a fixed infrastructure. The lack of infrastructure introduces various constraints on Ad-hoc networks. The selection of routing protocol is a big challenge in Ad-hoc network because of its dynamic behavior. This work mainly focusses to analyze the performance of hybrid (Zone Routing Protocol) routing protocol, which combines the best features of proactive (Optimized Link State Routing) and Reactive (Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector) routing protocols using different performance metrics like Throughput, End-to- End Delay, Packet Delivery Ratio, Power Consumption and Packet loss ratio. In this work, Genetic Algorithm and Ant Colony Optimization technique are proposed to improve the performance of MANETs.
