description Herein we introduce a new catalyst for the Kabachnik-Fields reaction, [Ce(l-Pro)] sub(2)(Oxa), using a very accessible, simple and efficient methodology for alpha -aminophosphonate synthesis using an aromatic aldehyde, an aromatic amine and diphenyl phosphite.
