This contribution describes the Molecular Sorting research approach of Fraunhofer organization, which covered application-oriented assessment of several separation technologies, along with their constraints.Original Abstract: Nachhaltigkeit entwickelt sich zu einem Leitmotiv nationalen und internationalen Handelns. Im Leitbild einer umwelt-, technologie- und innovationsorientierten Green Economy wird die Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie operationalisiert. Ein Element einer solchen Wirtschaftsform sind Ressourceneffizienz-Technologien. Ein wichtiger Teilbereich solcher Technologien sind Trennverfahren. Das Forschungsvorhaben Molecular Sorting der Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, in dessen Rahmen zahlreiche Trennverfahren anwendungsorientiert untersucht wurden, wird vorgestellt und das Umfeld fuer den Einsatz dieser Ressourceneffizienz-Ansaetze wird beschrieben.
