Internal Gravity Waves in an Isothermal Atmosphere with Wind Varying in Time

The propagation of internal gravity waves in an isothermal atmosphere with a uniform time-dependent wind is studied. The polarization relations are presented, and the characteristic times of parametric-instability development are estimated.
