Summary: | This study targeted evaluation of the capability of 230Th/U dating of sediments with a low content of organic matter. In order to fulfil this counterpart, datings using both 230Th/U and 14C tech niques on the Kuryador section sediments (River Vychegda valley) have been carried out: these sediments, according to loss on ignition (LOI) results, contain 313.5% of organic matter. |
