Summary: | The Tikhoe deposit has recently been explored 2 km south of the known Dzhuletta AuAg epithermal deposit with medium reserves [1]. Detailed geological characteristics of the ore field and the mineralogy and geochemistry of the ores of the Dzhuletta deposit are reported in [14]. The discovery of the Tikhoe deposit opened large prospects for further increase in the gold reserves of the ore field at sites previously considered unpromising. The explored reserves of the Tikhoe 1 ore zone alone are around 2 tons of gold [2]. In addi tion, there are also three potentially productive ore zones (Tikhoe 2, Tikhoe 3, and Lesnaya 3) with pre dicted gold resources of 15 tons [2]. |
