Description
Summary:The dependences of the dielectric permittivity and conductivity on frequency in moistened rocks are measured. In the low-frequency range, which is the one of anomalous values, these dependences can be approximated reliably by power functions. Taking into account the obtained result and the proposed mechanism of wave propagation in moistened media, the algorithm of defining the correspondence between electric parameters is developed. The correspondence is expressed in that both dielectric permittivity and conductivity are defined by the same functions: dielectric permittivity is found by their difference and conductivity is found by their sum. Examples of the measurement and calculation results are presented.
