Reduced prefrontal MEG alpha-band power in mild traumatic brain injury with associated posttraumatic stress disorder symptoms
Highlights • PTSD in patients with mTBI is associated with reduced prefrontal alpha-band power. • The reduction in alpha-band power primarily reflects the PTSD symptom of emotional numbing. • Loss of consciousness in mTBI predicts an alpha-band power decrease associated with comorbid PTSD.
