Summary: | Certain properties of the stochastic collection equation solutions have been studied using De Almeida turbulent collision efficiencies. Under this assumption, results show an important impact of small-scale turbulent motions on initial drop spectrum evolution. A parameterization of the autoconversion rate is obtained for levels of turbulence representative of the first stages of cloud development.
Evolving spectra have shown some interesting regularities that allow a comparison with those observed by Berry for a non-turbulent kernel. |
