Summary:The scope of the study was to evaluate the odontoperiodontal modifications observed in patients with chronic kidney disease, installed as a result of several chronic systemic pathologies, subjected to either dialysis or transplants. The group of patients suffering from chronic kidney disease included 42 persons (30 men and 12 women, with an average age of 42.6 ± 9.2 years), while the control group was formed of 88 patients (36 men and 52 women, with an average age of 41.3 ± 8.4 years). The investigation was developed in the Specialized Policlinics of the Sf. Apostol Andrei Emergency Hospital of Galati.
