Successful treatment with duodenoduodenostomy has been described in the majority of cases.2' 3 Gastroduodenostomy or duodenojejunostomy may be appropriate in some cases.4 Because PDPV is often associated with other anomalies, the surgeon must look for other causes of duodenal obstruction such as duodenal atresia or web, annular pancreas, or anomalies of rotation and fixation. |
