Dexmedetomidine suppresses intractable hiccup during anesthesia for cochlear implantation

Abstract We report on the successful use of dexmedetomidine to treat persistent intractable hiccup in a child who underwent cochlear implantation under sevoflurane-fentanyl anesthesia.
