Characterisation of a novel blaIMP gene, blaIMP-58 , using whole genome sequencing in a Pseudomonas putida isolate detected in Denmark

Abstract A multidrug-resistant strain of Pseudomonas putida was isolated from the urine of a 65-year-old women hospitalized for serious clinical conditions. Using whole genome sequencing a novel blaIMP gene, blaIMP-58 was discovered and characterized.
