Description
Summary:A simulation of dark-field imaging of sub-resolution structures with X-ray Talbot-Lau interferometry is presented. Data obtained from the simulation shows good agreement to a signal found in the dark-field image of a surgically removed sample of human breast tissue containing micro calcifications. A measure for the type of micro calcifications is introduced which can be calculated from dark-field signals. In a further analysis of the simulated data, it can be shown that the measure can be used to discriminate between different calcifications types.
