Summary: | Water table behavior under subsurface drainage conditions was analyzed by considering water table fluctuations in response to a sequence of recharge events. The derived solution is applicable to a nonhomogenous soil profile. An iteration procedure was introduced to illustrate the application of the theoretical results. Agreement between theoretical analysis and field data was shown to be adequate. |
