Early Detection of Inflammation Foci in the Soft Tissues of the Periodontium Using Infrared Diaphanoscopy

The possibility of early detection of inflammation foci in the soft tissues of the periodontium is discussed. Infrared diaphanoscopy is shown to be a useful tool for in vivo imaging of such inflammation foci.
