Ethnic variation of genetic (idiopathic) generalized epilepsy in Malaysia

Highlights • We studied patients with GGE and positive family history of epilepsy in Malaysia. • GGE with positive family history is prevalent in Malaysia. • There was ethnic variation in genetic risk of GGE in Malaysia. • Malaysian Chinese had the lowest percentage of GGE in Malaysia.
