Dendrimers in Supramolecular Chemistry:  From Molecular Recognition to Self-Assembly

Dendrimers, synthetic macromolecules, contain hyperbranched structures and are synthesized in an iterative fashion. Dendrimers have been employed as building blocks for the self-assembly of several larger nano- and mesoscopic structures and discrete hydrogen-bonded superstructures.
