Summary: | The quasi-static pressing of a clayey soil is used in two areas in earthen construction: in the building itself (for airdried bricks) as well as in geotechnics. In this article, we are showing a laboratory test that enable the study of the static compaction proceedings. This test can create samples of pressed earth alike the in situ compacted earth. We characterise the behaviour of the sample while pressing, the optimal water content as well as the stresses path, this process in order to obtain informations on its behaviour after pressing.Original Abstract: Le compactage quasi statique d'un sol argileux est utilise dans deux domaines de la construction en terre: en batiment (pour des briques sechees a l'air libre) et en geotechnique. Nous presentons, dans cet article, un essai de laboratoire qui permet l'etude de la procedure de compactage statique. Cet essai permet de fabriquer des echantillons de sol compacte comparables au solin situ. On caracterise le comportement de l'echantillon au cours du compactage, la teneur en cau optimum de compactage et aussi le chemin de contrainte suivi lors de cette procedure, afin d'obtenir des informations sur le comportement apres compactage. |
