Aggregation-induced emission (AIE) active iridium complexes toward highly efficient single-layer non-doped electroluminescent devices
In this work, for the first time, we successfully developed aggregation-induced emission (AIE) active iridium( iii ) complexes as emitting layers for highly efficient non-doped electroluminescent devices. A maximum current efficiency of 25.7 cd A −1 and 7.6% external quantum efficiency are achieved...

Summary: | In this work, for the first time, we successfully developed aggregation-induced emission (AIE) active iridium( iii ) complexes as emitting layers for highly efficient non-doped electroluminescent devices. A maximum current efficiency of 25.7 cd A −1 and 7.6% external quantum efficiency are achieved in the solution-processable single-layer architecture. The detailed relationship between the chemical structures and the photophysical properties as well as EL performances has also been demonstrated. |
