Summary: | Photomultiplication (PM) type organic photodetectors (OPDs) are presented that can work well under forward and reverse bias and exhibit tunable spectral response under bi‐directional bias. The working mechanism of the PM type OPDs is attributed to the interfacial trap‐assisted hole tunneling injection from external circuit under light illumination. Photogenerated electron distribution in active layers is calculated based on transfer matrix method. |
