Clinical Significance of Serum Complement Factor 3 in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Highlights • C3 is positively correlated with VAT, SAT, and TAT in T2DM. • TAT was retained as an independent determinant of C3. • C3 is positively correlated with hs-CRP. • C3 is a marker for overall adiposity rather than regional adiposity in T2DM.
